The CII calculation is essentially more straightforward, albeit more complex when it comes to newbuildings, where owners have to predict and minimize the CII value as much as possible.
The energy modelling of the vessel will allow the simulation specific to the particular operating profile, while also accounting for potential marine environmental conditions.
